    This contract allowed me for the first time to coalesce all my ideas for accounting software into an incipient integrated application. The owner, a one-at-a-time residential builder, wanted things just so, as dictated by he and his wife. They were great to work with.

    Besides a solid core of GL/AR/AP/Cash, there was a strong need for control of subcontractor worker's comp insurance issues, itemized, coded budgeting and billing per percent of completion. Eventually the growing company took on a partner who had software in hand, and this project came to an end.

    I had negotiated to retain rights to the code, and this core continued to become enriched, inevitably budding full blown into "Verismo" (see entries above.)
